During my career I have written many books on various planning methodology of different countries. This book is a compilation of 18 speeches that I gave during my career, in conferences and lectures, as a Keynote Speaker and Presidential addresses. It is classified into six chapters that discuss topics of development planning at a grassroot level, sustainable development and decentralized planning. The book also includes a lecture that was delivered at the Birth Centenary Celebrations of Prof. S.P Chatterjee ‘;The Father of Indian Geography’ and an inspiration to all the young budding geographers. The author of this book is an eminent scholar and practical regional planner of the Country.
