Lindsay Brown is an energetic and engaging Christian writer and speaker. She grew up on the South Side of Chicago where most days were spent looking out of her kitchen window dreaming of the journeys and adventures she read about. On Saturday mornings, in 6th grade, she competed on the radio show “The Battle of the Books”. The battle was to correctly answer more questions related to Newberry Award Winner books than the competing school. At the age of 13, her poem The 13th Floor was published by the University of Illinois at Circle Campus press. This was just the beginning Lindsay continued to write short stories and articles. Her book Sunshine Why Would You Do That?, consists of stories of Christian women misbehaving in relationships. She is currently working on her second book in the Sunshine Why Would You Do That? series “Bad Actors in the Workplace.”
During an early morning summer walk, twenty years ago, the story Armed without Bibles wafted into her mind. The story was shelved until she picked it up again and realized the year 2020 is when the story starts.
Lindsay is a professional member of the National Speakers Association. She holds a degree in Communications, North Central College. She has three children and lives grateful for each day with her husband, the love of her life.
