Kidney Friendly – A True Success Story chronicles the ten-year journey of difficulties, sadness, coping strategies, joys, and successes of author Mala Lange and her husband, Leonard, through his kidney disease. The fact that Leonard has avoided dialysis due to a healthy lifestyle and balanced diet from recipes that Mala created is truly remarkable. This moving, inspirational memoir is a testament to the unconditional love and dedication between two people when faced with the unyielding and painful reality of kidney disease. This story also provides practical guidance as well as emotional support to those who may be struggling with this disease, directly or indirectly. Making the decision to change for the better is often difficult, but Kidney Friendly – A True Success Story shows that doing so is worth the effort. All it takes is beginning in small measures and taking it one step at a time, one day at a time.
