Community Liaison/Advocate, Marissa Madrid has solidified her long standing reputation as an 18 year educator by inspiring and empowering children, families, and individuals through use of expansive resources and her personal literary/visual art. During the course of her career and voluntary services, she has represented non-profit educational establishments with custom designed documents and images to further enhance learning opportunities and training; accompanying additional funds and awards for ongoing programs as a result of her efforts.

Marissa’s writing has been described as open ended and all inclusive; leaving her readers craving more to feed their imagination, to nurture their independent thought, and to engage in meaningful conversations. The response from her readers on posted blogs exemplifies a genuine distinct connection between individuals and provided concepts-as they submit comments of relativity to their lives, additional views, and what value the literature has brought to their personal learning. Marissa moves others to hear their calling of consummation in all areas of life.

Colorado native, Marissa Madrid was raised by her Grandparents in a family of traditional values which appeared to fade with the coming on of new generations. She began to write at the age of eleven as a means to express thoughts, views, and ideas that did not fit within the commonality of her family structure. As an adult she pursued her career in education; and 25 years after the birth of her journals, she began to merge her writing skills with portfolios, proposals, and presentations to acquire additional resources for children and their families. Marissa is currently applying this same proven energy toward assisting with the development of programs promoting mentoring, literature, education, and stronger ties among communities and abroad. Her vision is a collaboration of “Inspiring and empowering others to succeed, multiplying the mission to continue throughout future generations.”
