Chammah J. Kaunda is Africa Research Fellow, Senior Research Specialist in Human Development Science of the Human Sciences Research Council (HDS-HSRC), and honorary lecturer in the School of Religion, Philosophy, and Classics at the University of Kwa Zulu-Natal in South Africa. Marja Hinfelaar is Director of Research and Programs at the Southern African Institute for Policy and Research (SAIPAR). She is the coauthor of Governing Extractive Industries: Politics, Histories, Ideas (2018). She is a member of the advisory board of the Journal of Southern African Studies and editor of the Zambia Social Science Journal and has lived and worked in Zambia since 1997.
