Pat Livingston is an author, and nationally known speaker who has been giving workshops, retreats, and lectures around the United States for twenty-five years. She was chosen for the 1990 U.S. Catholic Award given to a person who has significantly furthered the cause of women in the Church. For seven years she was the Associate Director of the Center for Continuing Formation in Ministry at the University of Notre Dame. Pat has audiotapes with several publishers, has been a contributor to Liguorian, U.S. Catholic, Living with Christ, Living Faith and other magazines, and has appeared on Catholic television. Her books, Lessons of the Heart, This Blessed Mess, and Let in the Light, Facing the Hard Stuff with Hope are published by Ave Maria Press/Sorin Books, Notre Dame. She is married, and a mother and grandmother.
