Chris Allen”s stories and editing have won multiple awards. Patricia Walkow is an award-winning author and editor. The Corrales Writing Group publishes anthologies and their Kindle (e-book) equivalents. Chris Allen spent most of her career as an archaeologist, writing and editing technical reports. In 2014, she joined the Corrales Writing Group (CWG) and discovered the world of creative writing. Since then, her stories and editing of CWG anthologies have won awards at the state and national level. She is a member of the National Federation of Press Women and New Mexico Press Women. Much of her work is created while riding her Morgan horse, Faith. Chris is currently working on two other books, a science fiction novel with her husband, Paul Knight, and a romance mystery with Patricia Walkow. Patricia Walkow is an award-winning author and editor. She wrote an acclaimed biography, The War Within, the Story of Josef, which received first place honors both nationally and internationally. Ms. Walkow has contributed to many anthologies and edited several. Her editing work and short stories have been recognized for excellence, either at the state or national level. A member of the Corrales Writing Group and SouthWest Writers, her work appears regularly in print and online anthologies, newspapers, and magazines. But to tell a story, one has to make time to write and seek the critiques of others.Since its creation, the Corrales Writing Group publishes anthologies and their Kindle (e-book) equivalents about every eighteen months, and their books have received numerous awards and outstanding reviews. The group is composed of five active members. Over the past years, members include the following authors who published chapters in one of the group”s five anthologies: Don Reightley, Patricia Walkow, Sandi Hoover, Thomas Neiman, Leon Wiskup, James John Tritten, Christina G. Allen, Maureen Cooke, and John Atkins.
