This has led to better and more effective therapeutic protocols which has led to increased populations of special needs as well as classified students in public schools. This combined with rises in childhood depression and anxiety as well as childhood poverty has meant more developmentally, socially, and emotionally diverse students. Suddenly, the job of teaching, has become more creative and dynamic. This same technological advance has also shown how music not only effects the brain, but is an untapped resource regarding the education of our kids.
