Rick Thompson is senior pastor of Council Road Baptist Church in Bethany, Oklahoma. The congregation is known to be a dynamic missional community on the west side of Oklahoma City. The church utilizes an innovative, Gospel-centered, biblically-oriented approach to ministry. Rick has earned a DMIN from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, an MDIV from Southwestern Theological Seminary, a BBA from Baylor University, and has taught New Testament, Old Testament, and church history at Wayland Baptist University. Rick and his wife, Teri, have two adult children, Taylor and Tallie, and a daughter-in-law, Ailee.
