The author of the book, Ensibuko Yaffe Abaganda, literally translated Genesis of the Baganda, narrates for the first time, an own history by the Baganda, in Luganda language about the origins of their great nation, once earmarked as a settlement for the Jews, as told by word of mouth until the age when writing and printing came to the Buganda kingdom, a nation found in East Africa.
The book is in three volumes. In Book 1, the author strives to inform both the young and old Baganda generations of their true identity as told by their forefathers as opposed to the stereotyped version laced with fiction for purposes of probably suiting the Christian and Moslem faithful.
For the first time, the reader is informed what led to the mysterious abdication of the throne by the first modern king (Kabaka) of the Baganda, Kato Kintu, facts that have been kept in secret for over 700 years. The purpose of the author in revealing such details is not to bring ridicule to the nation of Buganda from a Christian/Moslem point of view, but rather put historical facts right for the benefit of the dot.com generation era whose reasoning capacity is well beyond that of their predecessors of up to the late 1980s.
