Dr Sarvdeep Singh Dhatt is an Professor of Orthopaedics at PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has specialised in Trauma and Complex Spine Surgery. He has won many International awards in this field and done international fellowships from Shoichi Kokubun, Sendai Japan, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center NY USA, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong, Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital, USA, Brigham and Women’s Harvard Medical School, USA, Leicester General and Kings College Hospital, London UK, Rigshospitalet National University Hospital, Copenhagen Denmark and is an Indo American Spine Alliance Visiting Prof, University of Illinois, Chicago USA. He has to his credit three patents and around 100 publications as well and has authored 3 books. He is also International Committee member, Eurospine; Member Feedback Committee, North American Spine Society, Joint Secretary, North Zone Orthopaedic Association and Associate Editor, JPMER.
Dr Vishal Kumar MS, DNB, MAMS, Dip. SICOT, FACS, FRCS (Glas), FRCS (Eng) is presently working as an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, India- a premier institute and a state of the art teaching hospital of the country. His area of interests and specialization is spine and complex trauma. He has fine tuned his specialist training through several international and national fellowships at centres of international standing and repute including Oxford University Hospitals, Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery at QMC, Nottingham, University of Leeds, Dartmouth Hitchcock Centre, USA to name a few. He has several indexed publications, edited a textbook of Orthopaedics, and written more than ten chapters in textbooks. He has won more than twenty five international and national awards including Abdel Hay Masshour SICOT International Award.
