Dr Stefano Calzati is a writer and a Teaching Fellow in Media Studies and Digital Cultures at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Previously, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the City University of Hong Kong, where he taught and researched on new media literacies. He has also taught core courses in cultural studies at the University of Leeds, UK, where he obtained his PhD in 2016. His articles have appeared in various international peer-reviewed journals, such as the Chinese Journal of Communication, the Journal of Postcolonial Writing, Biography and Parallax. He has also worked as an editor and reporter for publishing houses, the press, and the radio in France, Belgium, Australia and the USA.
