Stephen Timmins has spent most of his working life in the television business, starting as a studio rigger and moving up to become a BBC producer and an executive producer in ITV prior to forming his own independent production company. Initially the company produced drama and documentaries, but went on to win the contract to launch the UK’s first national cable TV channel. In 2000 he went to the City of London to finance the launch of a pan European TV channel and led his company through a flotation on the London Stock Exchange. Since 2005 he has concentrated on developing classic rock music brands and writing the first three John Hannay novels.
