Stergios Chatzikyriakidis was born in Grevena, a small town in northwestern Greece. He studied Linguistics (BA) and Computational Linguistics (MSc and Ph D) in Aristotle University, Thessaloniki and Kings College, London respectively. He is currently a Reader in Computational Linguistics at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He has authored two novels (one forthcoming), both in Greek. This short story collection is his first attempt in English literature.
