Joana A. Quintela is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture at Portucalense University and a researcher at Research in Economics, Management, and Information Technologies (REMIT). She has held various operational and management positions in the hotel industry in Portugal and abroad. She holds a Ph D in Tourism and a Specialization Course in Hotel Management. Her research interests focus on tourism and hospitality, service quality, health, and wellness, emphasising marketing, sustainability, happiness, and quality of life.
