About the author
Reinhard Gagel (Dr. phil.), born in 1955, improviser and ensemble-leader, teaches at University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna and leads the Department for Theory and Research at exploratorium berlin.
Matthias Schwabe, born in 1958, improvisational musician, composer and musical pedagogue, is the founder and director of exploratorium berlin. He teaches at the Social-Pedagogical Institute Berlin and at the Berlin University of the Arts.
