The hard won peace following the end of the Mirror War is celebrated all throughout the Empire of Geb. However in the shadows hidden away from sight, Mirror’s War has awoken other things, old things that were dormant and no longer are. These stirrings eventually change the city of Xois from a peaceful commercial city into a decimated hellscape that reveals the hand of Aizen Zarrax.

Once a former member of the Alchemist Guild and a member of the Southern Arthurian Army, Aizen’s alchemic genius has allowed him to turn vampires into daywalkers, freeing them from the sun. This power has allowed him to become a ruler of a far off city made by and for vampires; new, old and ancient alike.

But Aizen is a scientist and he will never rest and so he seeks other wonders to grow and shape his city. A desire that causes him to come into conflict with the Empire of Geb, a conflict that will possibly drag the entire world in, as Aizen has found a way to use Alchemy on magic to create a web that will traverse the globe.

And this is but the beginning of Aizen’s machinations…
