Artur Świątek holds a PhD in English Linguistics. He is currently employed at the Pedagogical University of Cracow, Poland, where he holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Institute of Neophilology, Department of Germanic Languages. His main interests revolve around general linguistics (recently focusing on function words and their meaning in different languages), L1, L2 acquisition, contrastive linguistics and translation.
