David Nelson was born in Oxford, England, but has lived
most of his life New Zealand.
He particularly enjoys writing about personal relationships
and how people deal with societal issues, against the
backdrop of their cultural experience and history.
Before creative writing became his main pursuit David was a
Chief Executive in the voluntary welfare sector. He lives in Richmond, northern South
Island, with his wife, Glen. They have three adult children and six grandchildren.
