Tesni has a secret. While the other members of her clan hunt animals for food, Tesni has forged a secret friendship with a family of wild horses who live near her clan’s cave.
Now, a famine threatens Tesni’s family – horse and human alike. With food scarce and the people growing weak and sick, Tesni must choose whether her loyalties lie with her human family, or her horses.
