A New York native, Donald J. Green is a graduate of Bucknell University. After a career in advertising in New York City, he relocated to Tampa, his wife Nell’s hometown. He acquired an advanced degree in American history from the University of South Florida, Tampa and taught at Hillsborough Community College for over ten years.
