Despre autor
Edward Sell (1839-1932) was an Anglican missionary in India. Ordained in 1867, he was canon at St. George’s Cathedral and principal of the Harris High School for Muslims in Madras. Recipient of the Kaiser-i-Hind Gold Medal and a Doctorate in Divinity from Edinburgh, his dozens of works include Essays on Islam, The Historical Development of the Quran, Islam: Its Rise and Progress, and The Cult of Ali.
