The legislation’s numerous spending and revenue provisions can be grouped into several categories according to their focus, which include, providing funds to states and localities; supporting people in need; purchasing goods and services; and providing temporary tax relief for individuals and businesses. This book discusses the economic impact of the ARRA five years after its enactment.
