Sam the Ant, Sandy the Ant, and Drag the Dragonfly find themselves in the drainage pipes under San Francisco. The Ants discover an upper passage and end up in a place of all white, when all of sudden tragedy sets in! Meanwhile, Drag searches the tunnels and eventually is confronted with a dangerous decision. A massive wall of water approaches, and Drag can see Sam and Sandy inside a plastic globe. Confused and scared, Drag decides to brave the wave and attempt to save his friends. Each book comes with a unique parent guide and learning guide, which are scaffolded for beginning to intermediate to advanced parenting, just as the books are scaffoled with regards to reading complexity. Sam Sierra-Feldman is a performing artist, conductor, educator and author. Sam is the music teacher at the Tucson Hebrew Academy, the Co-Founder and Assistant Conductor of the Helios Choral Ensemble, a member of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Chorus, a Staff Singer for the St. Philips in the Hills Church Choir, and an active composer and author.
