John Ermine, known to his Crow tribe as White Weasel, must choose between the tribe that became his family and his white heritage. His failure poses the question, can women like Katherine and men like John live in the same space? Or is this, tragically, “The End of All Things”?

World-famous artist and illustrator Frederic Remington (1861-1909), was a life-long student of battles and the American west. He took many trips to former battle sights as well witnessing ongoing campaigns against Geronimo and the Sioux. After publishing eight books, including Sundown Leflare and The Way of an Indian, he stopped writing to focus on other ways of expressing his love of the West: art and sculpture.
