George Philip Krapp (1872-1934) was a prolific American author and editor, specializing in Anglo-Saxon poetry. Among his best-known works are The Elements of English Grammar (1908), Modern English: Its Growth and Present Use (1910), In Oldest England (1912) and The English Language in America (1925).
