Research methodology is the core component of any valid research. This book provides a guide to conducting research within the broad field of computing. This book is a survival manual that contains a detailed research procedure from the perspective of different computing disciplines in place of the commonly written books on general research methodology. The book can equip the readers with an understanding of identifying research problem, problem formulation, extensive literature review (critical and systematic), methodologies, sources of research datasets, computing research tools, trending research areas in computing, academic databases housing computing literature, research ethics in computing, how to overcome potential challenges in a journey to research in computing and provide tips/skills required for writing journal manuscript for publication in high impact journals.
