Jimmy Evans served for more than 30 years as the senior leader of Trinity Fellowship. Under his leadership, the church grew from 900 members to over 10, 000 and expanded to include multiple campuses and Trinity Fellowship Association of Churches. Today, Jimmy is a Senior Elder and member of our Preaching Team. Jimmy is also the CEO of Marriage Today, a ministry founded by Trinity Fellowship and devoted to helping build strong, fulfilling marriages and families. Together, Jimmy & Karen co-host Marriage Today at www.marriagetoday.com He also serves as Senior Pastor at Gateway Church, a multi-campus church in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, and as an overseer of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He holds an Honorary Doctorate of Literature from The Kings University and has authored more than sixteen books, among which are his popular works, Marriage on the Rock, Ten Steps Toward Christ, Lifelong Love Affair, When Life Hurts, Strengths Based Marriage, I Changed My Mind and his newest book The Overcoming Life. Jimmy and Karen have been married for 44 years and have two married children and five grandchildren.
