China is the most important nation in your children’s future. You may not be able to take them to China this year, so why not take them on a literary journey there? As seen through the experience of a little American baby boy who truly lived in China in the late 90s, this colorful book introduces children to the wonders of the old city of Beijing with images of the most notable landmarks in China. With Christopher as your guide, your kids will visit the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and much more. They will learn a bit about Chinese culture and history. Bringing to life some of the historic landmarks and traditions of China, the author hopes to inspire young readers to learn more about cultures different from their own. Hopefully young readers will want to explore the world and open their minds to the rich diversity of our planet, and maybe one day visit China in person!
