John W. Phillips, a retired U.S. Army field artillery officer and financial comptroller, served over twenty years in Corps Artillery, Division Artillery, Army Headquarters, and Forces Command. His distinguished career includes overseas and domestic deployments, earning him the Legion of Merit and Meritorious Service Medal, among others. Inducted into the Georgia Military Veterans Hall of Fame in 2021, John now serves as a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for Georgia (North). He has held senior roles in corporate finance and military sales at Coca-Cola. He resides in North Georgia, enjoying fly fishing, camping, and traveling with his wife and dogs.
