The characters are a segment of this towns society, who has found work in fields that require a certain degree of specialization. Some of them are here because they continue to live here, having come as children with their families; others just heard of the countrys possibilities and decided to move because of a job offer. The characters find that life is easy but one or two run into inevitable issues.

K. S. Khoury is the author of many published poems and two books so far. A graduate of engineering studies, she decided to redirect herself to writing, a passion that she developed as she researched her first manuscript. This experience led her to do further research and get to know more about history, an interest that she pursues.
K. S. Khoury has visited many countries in Europe, America, and Asia, including China, adding to the versatile background she grew up in.
