Lisa Petermann (née Grant) is the Director of the Knowledge Exchange Centre – Mental Health Commission of Canada, as well as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medical History in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. She received her PhD in History of Medicine (2007) from the Wellcome Centre for the History of Medicine, University of Warwick (England) with a thesis titled „From a Cough to a Coffin: The Child”s Medical Encounter in England and France, 1762–1882.” Her dissertation was supervised by French historian Professor Colin Jones and medical historian Professor Hilary Marland.Kerry (Sheng-) Sun is a Project Research Assistant in the Calgary History of Medicine and Health Care Program and a Final-Year History Honours Student in the Bachelor of Arts Program at the University of Toronto (Ontario). In addition to history of medicine in the 19th and 20th centuries, he has a strong interest in the intersection of social history with political science, while historically researching the development of international relations (USA, Europe and Japan) during the period of 1815 and 1945.Frank W. Stahnisch is an Associate Professor with joint appointment in the Department of Community Health Sciences and Department of History at the University of Calgary, where he also holds the AMF/Hannah Professorship in the History of Medicine and Health Care. He is the author of Ideas in Action (2003); co-editor (with Florian Steger) of Medizin, Geschichte und Geschlecht (2005); co-editor (with Ulrich Schoenherr and Antonio Bergua) of Albert Neissers „Stereoscopischer Medicinischer Atlas” (2006); co-editor (with Heijko Bauer) of Bild und Gestalt (2007), and co-editor (with Sylwia Werner and Claus Zittel) of Ludwik Fleck – Denkstile und Tatsachen: Gesammelte Schriften und Zeugnisse (2011).
