Liliana Velásquez was born in Villaflor, Guatemala. Dreams and Nightmares / Sueños y Pesadillas is her first publication. Mark Lyons is the director of the Philadelphia Storytelling Project, where he works with immigrants, students and homeless veterans to create audio stories.
