Liz Tomlin is a lecturer at the University of Birmingham, where she is currently working on a monograph on contemporary performance and theory for publication with Manchester University Press in 2012. She was associate director of Point Blank Theatre from 1999–09 and has edited Point Blank (Intellect, 2007), a selection of Point Blank Theatre’s performance texts and critical essays on the company’s work. Previous professional productions have included Roses & Morphine (2005), Operation Wonderland (2004) and Nothing to Declare (2002) and she is currently working on The Pool Game in collaboration with artistic collective Geiger Counter.
