María del Mar is a photographer promoting tourism in her hometown of Luquillo on the island of Puerto Rico. Writing has been her passion since she was just a child. The Pirate Chronicles have been the culmination of a life-long love affair with writing and pirates. She lives in her hometown with her pets, surrounded by sea, sun and sand.
