Marge Hansenbecame a military wife in 1958 when she married First Lieutenant Charles J. Hansen Jr., United States Air Force, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. Marge”s professional experience includes teacher in public higher education, communications instructor and education administrator for the United States Air Force, and manager in corporate marketing communications for Texas Instruments. In July 2013, she joined the Military Officers Association of America in the „Storming-the-Hill” event in Washington, speaking with senators and representatives to find a way to eliminate the „Widow”s Tax” on survivors” military benefits. Currently she lives in the Dallas area and continues her work to seek help for military dependents whose family members were exposed to Agent Orange. She has two sons and three granddaughters.
