Mathew Harrison is a member of the Church or Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints. He was an Eagle Scout and also received his Duty To God award. He lettered in basketball in high school, and at age 19 he served a Portuguese speaking proselyting mission to Portugal. Afterwards, he attended a State College and then University where he studied Business. Mathew lost the most important people in his life when he was accused and convicted of crimes he did not commit. He lost his job, his reputation, his family, and his freedom. Being falsely accused and sentenced to a lengthy prison term, he began to seek ways to help others to avoid the painful consequences of poor life choices and lead people to the greatest source of healing and change. Against all odds, Mathew has not only survived but changed in his prison environment. Writing his story is one of many ways he hopes to help others find the path to self-discovery and change and avoid the path that leads to incarceration and misery. Mathew is the father of three beautiful children.
