Oliphant’s prolific output, with more than 120 works to her name, encompassed various genres, including domestic novels, historical narratives, and supernatural fiction. ‘Miss Marjoribanks’ (1866) stands as one of her most cherished novels, contributing significantly to the sub-genre of domestic realism.
