Dr. P. V. Nidheesh completed B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Kannur, Kerala; M. Tech. in Environmental Engineering and Ph. D. from National Institute of Technology Trichy, Tamilnadu. After the completion of doctoral degree, he worked as an adhoc faculty at National Institute of Technology Calicut, Kerala and as an Associate Professor at Vimal Jyothi Engineering College, Chemperi, Kannur, Kerala. Currently he is working as a senior scientist at CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur. His research interest includes, water and wastewater treatment, advanced oxidation processes and solid waste management. He has published55 international journal articles, 9 conference articles and one book chapter. He is an author of highly cited and highly downloaded articles. He is a reviewer of various journals published by Nature, Wiley, Springer, Elsevier etc.
