Paul Purnell lives in London with his wife and has worked as a Queen’s Counsel for over thirty-five years. Born in Cardiff, Wales Purnell joined the army and was posted between Germany and the UK —an experience which he claims significantly broadened his horizons and has since influenced his fiction writing. In his spare time he enjoys racing around the country on his motorbike as well as spending time with his three children and grandchildren. He has previously published a series of short stories including; The Hireling (2015), Scaramouche (2015) and The Storm (2016).
