He served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a Colonel. He is currently a Certified Financial Planner and Realtor in San Antonio. Hehas a MBA from UNLV and a BBA in Finance Economics from the University of Houston where he was a pitcher on the 1967 College World Series Finalist Baseball Team. He is an active Rotarian and previously served as Chairman of a Salvation Army Board.
