Sarah Radford grew up travelling the world, and has lived on four continents, amid a variety of cultures including the highlands of Papua New Guinea, refugee camps on the Thai-Cambodian border, small country towns, Edinburgh, Boston, and now Adelaide, her home of many years. Her writing is an emotional journey through the wonderful range of human experience. She has had many poems published, including a collection of her own work, On the Back of a Giant Turtle. She works as a teacher and disability carer, and runs writing workshops; but the job which brings her the most joy is as a mother of five and grandmother of three.
