Due to environmental stressors affecting increasingly younger students, many are experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. This includes: not doing school work, learning loss, lack of motivation, peer conflicts, and social skills gaps. Kids are also feeling extreme emotions like: fear, restlessness, and anxiety. In turn, this causes parents and teachers to feel: anxious, frustrated, overwhelmed, and fearful. This interferes with teachers’ ability to teach and the students’ ability to learn. Furthermore, it causes kids to misbehave. Teachers and parents need better ways to handle students’ inappropriate behavior. Students need better ways to manage their emotions, learn content, remember what they learn, and set achievement goals.
