Steven Smith
Through the Gate and Running Straight [EPUB ebook]

Ajutor
Author Steven Smith presents a candid picture of life as a race that sometimes leaves us tired and weary. But we do have the option of running a different race, a race that is not about beating the competition or finishing first. Its about making sure we are heading in the right direction. The book gives hope that we dont have to get swallowed up in the mad dash that leads to nowhere. By developing a relationship with God, we can embark on the journey of a lifetime, one that is both satisfying and challenging. We are reminded of the timeless truth that a race that is never begun can never be finished. And a race that is never finished can never be won.

Despre autor

My name is Steven B.B. Smith. I’ve been running the race of faith for the past eighteen years. My journey has included hills and valleys, bumps and bruises, even some thrills and chills. God has been the one constant in my life through the years. I’m not an expert or a theologian, just a Christian who loves God, loves to think, and loves to write. During the past eighteen years, I’ve spent countless hours saturating my thoughts with God’s Word, both through formal study and also informal, devotional reading. I am a pastor with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador. My wife, Deanna, and I, and our young son, Caleb, are currently serving as pastors in the community of Norman’s Cove, NL, a small town of about 700. My purpose in writing this book is to nudge the reader just a little bit closer to the God who loves us all unconditionally.
