Prof. Sudesh Nangia is currently UGC-Emeritus Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Regional Development. Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has taught Geography and Population Studies for more than four decades. She has authored/edited a dozen books, published more than 60 articles and guided more than 100 research scholars for M. Phil / Ph.D. at JNU and other academic institutions. She has been Consultant to several International Bodies. She has been President of National Association of Geographers” India (NAGI); and Indian Association for the Study of Population (IASP). She has been a Member of the Commission on Population and Environment of the IL?SSP and International Geographical Union. Dr. Mrityunjay Mohan Jha received his Masters in Geography, M.Phil and Ph D. in food security from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, besides receiving training in Geographic Information System from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun. He has worked in the areas of social development, resettlement and rehabilitation (R&R), decentralized planning, and natural resource management He has five books and about a dozen research papers to his credit. He has worked with national level institutes, reputed organizations and Consulting Groups. He is providing consultancy in the areas of resettlement, rehabilitation, and social development. Prof. Suresh Misra is Chair Professor (Consumer Affairs) and Chairman Centre for Consumer Studies, Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. He holds MA in Political Science from JNU, MHRM from Pondicherry Univeristy and D. Phil from Allahabad Central University. He has his advance training in rural management from Israel. His areas of interest include rural development and local governance, administrative restructuring and consumer affairs. He has authored/edited a number of books and brought numerous reports and papers.
