Susanne U. Schultz holds a Ph D from the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University, where she is an associated research fellow at the Center on Migration, Citizenship and Development (COMCAD). Her research focuses on (return) migration and West Africa. She currently works in the area of migration and Africa at the Bertelsmann Stiftung, a German think tank, focusing on legal pathways and political cooperation.
