Tom Regan (Pittsburgh, 1938) es profesor de filosofía de la Universidad Estatal de Carolina del Norte. Ha dedicado su vida a la reflexión y defensa de los derechos de los animales, lo cual lo ha convertido en uno de los líderes de este movimiento.
