Wilde Alexander, fue miembro senior del Helen Kellogg Institute (Notre Dame) y del Programa Latinoamericano del Woodrow Wilson Center. Anteriormente, dirigió la Oficina de Washington para América Latina (WOLA) y enseñó en Georgetown, George Washington, Notre Dame, Lawrence (Wisconsin), Haverford College y la Universidad de Wisconsin-Madison.
