The author has been a professional writer and dramatist for many years. While working with a theatre production company, she began Sleeping Alone as a monologue but became fascinated by Sylvia’s cry of longing and despair. An American, the author has enjoyed acting and travel, has lived and worked in the U.S., Canada, Ethiopia, England, and the Middle East. In Calgary she enjoys gardening, visits to the mountains, family and friends, and occasional participation in writing seminars.
