Alfred W Evans Jr. is a graduate of Columbia University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences class of 1973. AL also has a Bachelor of Science degree in labor studies from Indiana University Northwest, class of 2002. AL completed his formal education at Seton Hall School of Law with a Masters of Science in Jurisprudence degree (MSJ), class of 2007. The MSJ concentrated in Health Law and Intellectual Property.AL used his formal education and over 35 years of experience practicing pharmacy to serve others in roles such as President of the Chicago Pharmacist Association (2003-2005), a member of the Illinois Pharmacist Association Board of Directors (2000-2005). AL was Vice-President of the National Pharmacist Association, a labor union in Naperville, IL (1998-2005). AL was one of the founding members and founding Vice-President of the MSJ student Organization at Seton Hall Law School.Most notably AL’s testimony before the Illinois legislature’s committee on healthcare in April 2003 was instrumental in pharmacists in that state being recognized as healthcare professionals and providers in the pharmacy practice Act. AL is a licensed pharmacist in five states (Mississippi, Illinois, Texas, New Jersey and New York).
